# Audits

The USD.infra Vault involves smart contract risk and real-world operational risk. Audits and cautious rollouts are core mitigations.

## Audit approach:

* Independent security audits before enabling public deposits into production vault contracts.
* Scope clarity: publish what was audited (mint/redeem, vault accounting, redemption logic, distribution logic) and what was out of scope.
* Staged rollout: start with limited caps / limited features, expand as monitoring and reporting prove stable.
* Ongoing monitoring: on-chain transparency (Deal Explorer), reserves reporting, and vault-level reporting to reduce information asymmetry.
