# Data Centers

“Data Centers” in DAWN refer to regional aggregation points for backhaul, routing, and interconnect that anchor capacity. They matter because wireless access quality is bounded by upstream constraints—backhaul, routing, and interconnection.

In DAWN, these components are treated as first-class infrastructure surfaces that can be monitored and incorporated into network reliability and expansion planning.
