# Service an entire Building

Building deployments turn DAWN into a “real” broadband option fast: one installation can onboard dozens to hundreds of subscribers, creating measurable cashflows and a clean operational footprint. Building-wide service is a repeatable deployment pattern for delivering real subscriber cashflows at scale.

## **Step-by-step:**

1. Confirm the building is serviceable

* Identify radio frequency (RF) viability, backhaul options, and installation constraints.
* You can secure rooftop / riser / MDF access (or equivalent)
* There’s enough resident density/demand to justify rollout

2. Define the service model

* Direct-to-unit subscriber plans, building-wide plan, or hybrid.

3. Install equipment + bring building online

* Deploy the building’s core equipment (backhaul + distribution)
* Register deployment metadata and operator identity.
* Run baseline validation to establish initial quality.

4. Onboard subscribers

* Plans should be expressed in user terms: speed tier, reliability expectations, equipment/install details, price, and support path.&#x20;

5. Baseline performance check

* Validate initial experience and ensure monitoring is enabled.&#x20;

6. Ongoing monitoring + support

* Monitor service quality continuously
* Maintain an escalation path for issues and keep monitoring active.&#x20;
* Iterate based on observed bottlenecks (backhaul, interference, saturation).

7. Expand once unit economics are proven

* Once subscription revenue and performance are stable, building deployments become financeable at scale (See: [USD.infra Vault](/usd.infra-vault/usd.infra-vault-overview.md)) because cashflows and service quality can be tracked over time (not just promised).&#x20;
